You will walk through centuries-old monasteries, cross some of the world’s highest mountain passes, witness rivers merging in contrasting colors, and relax beside crystal-clear alpine lakes surrounded by snow-clad peaks. This tour blends adventure, spirituality, culture, and breathtaking scenery into one unforgettable Himalayan experience.
Itinerary
On arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some time to acclimatize, you can head out to explore Leh town at a relaxed pace.
Visit the local bazaar, famous for Tibetan handicrafts, silver jewelry, prayer items, and fine Pashmina shawls. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful stroll through the town, soaking in the mountain air and calm atmosphere. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Sham Valley, one of the most culturally rich regions of Ladakh.
Your journey starts with a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Next, witness the natural wonder of Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to roll uphill against gravity. Continue to the spectacular confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where two differently colored rivers merge into a breathtaking sight.
You will then visit Alchi Monastery, one of the oldest Buddhist complexes in Ladakh, known for its exquisite artwork and architecture. The tour concludes with a visit to the Ladakh Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the bravery of Indian soldiers. After the tour, return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, depart for Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The drive offers stunning views of snow-covered peaks and winding mountain roads.
Upon reaching Nubra Valley, check in to your hotel. Later, visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest monastery in Nubra, offering panoramic views of the valley. Continue to Hunder Village, famous for its sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels. You may enjoy a camel ride or a walk through the desert-like landscape. End the day with a visit to Panamik Hot Springs, known for their therapeutic properties. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Pangong Lake via the scenic Shayok River route, one of the most beautiful drives in Ladakh. Surrounded by towering mountains and crystal-clear waters, this route is a visual treat.
On arrival at Pangong Lake, check in to your lakeside camp. The lake’s ever-changing shades of blue against the rugged mountains create a magical atmosphere. Spend the evening walking along the shore, taking photographs, or simply enjoying the silence of nature. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
After breakfast, drive back to Leh. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax before going for sightseeing.
Visit the stunning Thiksey Monastery, home to a giant statue of Maitreya Buddha and beautiful Tibetan architecture. Later, visit the famous Druk Padma Karpo School, popularly known as “Rancho’s School” from the movie 3 Idiots. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Tso Moriri Lake, another spectacular high-altitude lake. En route, stop at Chumathang, known for its natural sulphur hot springs.
On reaching Tso Moriri, check in to your guest house. Visit the tranquil lake, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and rich wildlife. As it lies within a protected wetland reserve, camping is not allowed here, preserving its pristine beauty. Spend time enjoying the peaceful environment before returning for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, drive back to Leh. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for shopping, local sightseeing, or simply relaxing. Enjoy your final evening in Ladakh with dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh Airport for your return journey, taking back unforgettable memories of your Ladakh adventure.
